Personal Alarm Signal Systems (German abbreviation: PNA) in keeping with DIN V VDE V 0825-1 are systems that activate and transmit both deliberate and automatic distress signals in emergency situations. They ensure the protection of persons who work alone in hazardous workplaces, and they do so in full conformity with the German DGUV Rule 112-139.
Occupational safety is subject to strict legal regulations. In accordance with the DGUV (German Social Accident Insurance), people working alone outside of call and sight range must be protected by a personal alarm signal system for certain hazardous activities. DAKS-PNA is certified by the employers' liability insurance association as such a personal alarm signal system (PNA) in accordance with DIN VDE V 0825-1. The system enables the triggering, transmission and location of deliberate and automatic alarms and is used to protect people during dangerous lone working in compliance with DGUV regulations.
