Who or what is DAKS®,
and what is an alarm server?

(video in German – English subtitles available)

Key content of the video

An alarm server connects various technical systems with the telephony world and/or the communications world of a company.

Example of patient calls in a hospital or nursing home: these are forwarded by the alarm server to mobile end devices, saving staff unnecessary commutes and giving them more time for the actual care of patients.

Example from the industry sector: a level monitor reports a low fill level, or a machine reports a fault or complete failure. In this case, the alarm server forwards the relevant information to the technicians on duty who are responsible for the respective area, thus helping to maintain uninterrupted operation.
